Pinchflat 2 this Saturday!

I'm so excited to announce that after months of intense planning by a great group of volunteers that the wait is almost over. Pinchflat 2 opens this Saturday, May 5th, with two opportunities to check it out. 

Saturday from noon-5: Gallery opening at Wild Goose Greative with live music, food, activities, and on-site poster sales.

Saturday 6pm-11pm: The party continues at Paradise Garage during the May Short North Gallery Hop with live DJ, entertainment and on-site poster sales.

We have 35 artists represented this year--10 more than last year. Best of all, these limited edition posters are only $30 each with a portion of the proceeds going to Wild Goose Creative and Yay Bikes! So come pick up a stack of them to decorate your home or office.

If you cannot make it to either event on May 5, don't worry...The posters will be available to view and purchase at Seagull Bags during their normal business hours (M-F 9-6 and Saturdays 10-3) through the end of May.

Pinchflat Posters have arrived!

My Pinchflat Posters arrived this morning from my friends at The Half and Half. Once again, the printing is gorgeous.

My intern, Danielle Williams, a Sophomore at CCAD, received hers today as well and they look amazing.

Inkr iPad app now available on the AppStore

I'm very proud to announce that the Inkr app is now available on the AppStore. This simple app turns your iPad into a portable light box for the analog artist and adds some features like custom grids and the ability to import photos and sketches for tracing. Designed for illustrators, custom letterers, tattoo artists and designers who still prefer to use paper and pencil.

Pinchflat Deadline coming up

April 15th is your last chance to submit your artwork for Pinchflat. Posters must be printed and delivered to the gallery by May 1. If you haven't registered yet, this is your last opportunity til next year.

We already have a great group of entries this year. We'll definilety have more than 30 artists represented.

Pinchflat 2 call for entry deadline extended to April 15th

Okay. This is for all of you designers who told me "I was planning on entering but the deadline just crept up on me and...." I promise not to call you out by name...yet.

Here's your second chance. We have officially extended the entry deadline to April 15th. So, get over to www.pinchflatcolumbus.com, download the call for entries, and show off your talent in this year's Pinchflat event. It's a great way to express yourself, raise money for some amazing local non-profits, and put some spending cash in your pocket.
